Our Financial Services Industry Advisor team is looking for dynamic leaders with deep subject matter expertise in Consumer Lending, Business, Commercial or Investment Banking . Our Banking Advisors work as the connector between customers and the company and will be primarily aligned to the Sales Leadership teams in each Operating Unit. This person will focus on the Commercial and Investment Banking industry but will also be part of the broader banking leadership team. This role will also partner with the industries product, marketing and partners teams as an input into the needs of customers and feedback from the field.
The ideal candidate is someone who has had deep and extensive leadership roles across Commercial and Investment Banking and has run businesses within these. Having an in depth knowledge of the structures, processes, strategies and decision making filters of business owners and leaders will be critical in being able to partner, support and guide both internal and external customers. The candidate should also have a clear grasp and direct experience with Salesforce’s solutions and capabilities for Banking and the ability to interact with C-level customer executives to share the Salesforce vision, relevant personal experiences in a compelling manner, and partner on ensuring a strong partnership to further the customer digital strategy.
This leader will be key in maintaining relationships and close alignment with regional sales leadership in AMER, EMEA, LATAM and APAC, plus other supporting teams around the world such as Solutions Engineering and Customer Success as well as more region specific teams such as Industry Business Development in EMEA. Curating global learnings and best practices across regions to ensure relevancy to customers is also a critical part of this role.
Direct Customer Engagement
Trusted advisor engagement at OU-identified big bet/strategic accounts to supplement AE teams and demonstrate Industry acumen, focused on stickiness and building long term relationships and value.
Leverage and tailor Industry perspective across the operating unit and scale assets to the needs of each strategic customer.
Deepen our complex industry selling ability through executive sponsorship and oversight of account engagement.
Function as Industry Luminaries for OUs including CAB engagement, roundtable guest speaker, and industry association partnership.
Sales Program Advisory
- Industry-aligned business development function to support OU ACV targets, in collaboration with OU Sales Programs and OU leadership strategic priorities.
Industry Experience: The role requires 10+ years of industry expertise working in the Banking industry
Be well versed in overall Financial Services challenges and trends, and have significant in-depth knowledge and experience in use of technology in Banking.
