As the Associate Marketing Manager for Developmental Math and Redesign at Cengage, you’ll develop research-based and demand generation marketing campaigns designed to drive sales for your portfolios. From launching sales enablement programs to reporting on overall performance, you’ll get things done—with high energy and positivity.
Those killer communication and collaboration skills of yours? Those will come in handy when you connect with customers and partner with the Product, Marketing and Sales teams to help bring their success to the next level. Strategize with Product Managers and sales partners on key targets and opportunities
Identify, monitor and track high-impact customer targets for assigned courses/disciplines
Tell a compelling product story that engages our sales force, captures new customer markets and drives sales, using demand generation strategies to get the story out
Partner with product teams to craft internal and external messaging about new and existing products
Develop and promote customer-facing events and presentations to drive enrollments and sales conversions
Collaborate with Integrated Campaigns team to plan and execute business-driving marketing campaigns aligned to key priorities
Manage go-to-market and go-to-sales plans and campaigns for portfolio products
Create and manage customer-facing product information and content for priority products and channels and work with web team to ensure products are accurately reflected on Cengage sites
Analyze your business and align marketing strategies to most important portfolio drivers
Compile analytics for sales and marketing campaigns and provide feedback to respective teams
Help Market Research team identify research opportunities and synthesize results to develop customer insights that will inform business/marketing strategies and influence product creation
Build relationships with key market influencers and advocates
Skills You Will Need Here:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, Sales or Communications
2-3 years of Marketing or Sales experience
Experience working with a large sales force
Superior presentation skills in person and in virtual environment
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with other team members, customers, sales, and stakeholders across the organization
Outgoing and positive with a focus on building and managing relationships
Self-starter with a sense of urgency
The creativity and ingenuity needed to create engaging content strategies
