Purpose:
At Reebok, we tell stories. Social media is one of our most important storytelling tools – it’s the face of our brand and a connection to our consumer. The Associate Manager, Social Media will work on building relationships and connecting with our consumers through the many facets of Community Management. They will be the voice of our platforms while also being the eyes and ears for the company; always ready to identify new opportunities.
Together, with the guidance and support of the Global Social Media Manager, the Social Media team will lend their expertise to internal stakeholders as needed, finding that perfect blend of brand and product storytelling.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage and own Community Management through third party resources.
Own YouTube upload process.
Work closely with Social Media Manager on content scheduling and publishing.
Work with Editorial Team to create supplemental content and support on social media.
Act as internal point person for broader marketing and strategy team.
Assist in the development and execution of brand, product and corporate storytelling to tell the deeper story behind our brand, our company and our products through a social media lens.
Form close-knit working relationships with Reebok squads (product teams), PR and Influencer teams, Editorial team, Strategy team, Reebok’s internal creative agency, and our external agency partners to deliver the most impactful stories across social media.
Help identify news and “newsmakers” within the walls of Reebok and its communities to strengthen our storytelling and help us develop deeper relationships with our consumers.
Uncover trends and opportunities to authentically insert Reebok, its assets and its products into the cultural conversation.
Assist with compilation of monthly analytics reports to measure content performance, reach, and growth goals.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong writing skills that enhance Reebok’s voice through Community Management
Creative thinker; always on the lookout for new ways to insert the brand into the conversation
Self-starter; able to take direction, but confident in own decision-making and ability to manage projects autonomously
Social Media/Community Management experience
Understanding of all social platforms and their roles in an organization
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills; the ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with TikTok and Instagram production/creation a plus
Experience with Sprinklr, Adobe Analytics and Talkwalker a plus
Qualifications:
2-3 years’ experience minimum in an office environment
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferredv
