Leveraging insight from usage development roadmap and technology build, the Usage Modernization Program Manager will drive help drive the successful delivery of the modernization of how we collect and uncover value from the usage data gathered from out desktop platforms.
As a member of the Commercial Strategy Platforms and Programs Team, the Associate Director, Commercial Technology will work with the Commercial Platforms Team, partnering Technology Teams, RM and Sales representatives, Product organization leadership and external consultants to help develop a detailed, end-to-end usage modernization roadmap for the near and long-term state of the usage ecosystem related to the Market Intelligence and Capital IQ Desktop Products. The Usage Modernization Manager role incorporates project oversight, customer relationship management, team coordination, system design and reporting. It is best suited for a "hands-on" person who enjoys teamwork, has product knowledge and project management experience, and a record of exercising indirect influence to get things done.
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,600 to $171,500. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

Through each phase of the program, Associate Director, Commercial Technology will help define and drive initiatives to facilitate awareness, advocacy and engagement.
Help create and manage project plan for each phase and undertaking of usage modernization.
Coordinate a team of subject matter experts to define initiative requirements and map plan to achieve results.
Represent Commercial Strategy and coordinate with partners from other functional teams (Product, Technology, Revenue, Project Management etc.) to drive multi-functional planning and execution.
Serve as a central point of contact for functional teams and leaders seeking updates on usage modernization.
Partner with Commercial Platforms team members to advance usage modernization-related and other commercial technology projects using the Agile framework
Work with cross-functional leaders to define the ideal end state for usage modernization, and the key touchpoints within it. Ensure all teams are educated on these touchpoints.
Work with Commercial Education and Launch Management to ensure all Commercial teams know the benefits (by segment/persona) of new usage ecosystem when ready.
Help coordinate the readiness plan, including technology and staffing needs, to execute across each of the key touch points in a coordinated fashion.
Provide actionable intelligence to Commercial and Product leaders in order to evolve usage modernization Go to Market plans based on varied internal feedback.
Partner with Product to determine the appropriate usage measures for our business going forward.
Help create dashboards and communication cadences to track usage in the most relevant and digestible way for the various audiences within S&P Global Market Intelligence and S&P Global as a whole.
Participate in the on-going creation and update of best practices for onboarding and training on available usage offerings.
Anticipate, mitigate and remove obstacles to project progress and maintain high levels of quality and performance
Manage and control changes to the project scope, project timeline and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Communicate regularly about progress and risks
