Takeda Pharmaceuticals Associate Director Brand Marketing, Lung in Boston, Massachusetts

As part of the Global Oncology Products & Pipeline Strategy team, you will report to Head of the Oncology Lung Franchise and work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to drive an asset in our Lung Cancer portfolio.
How you will contribute:
Refine and evolve brand strategies including brand positioning and messaging
Drive conception and development of key promotional tactics and materials in partnership with the agency of record and key cross-functional partners. Materials may include creative campaign, core visual aid / interactive visual aid, brand book, digital content, and content for peer-to-peer tactics
Develop and execute above-market digital tactics
Engage with Regions / Local Operating Companies (LOCs) to represent the brand and gain input and alignment on key brand strategies, tactics and performance. Organize and execute brand meetings with LOCs
Support launches in new markets as well as LCM strategy
Partner with Competitive intelligence and Insights & Analytics teams to distill key insights, validate business opportunities, and inform specific brand strategies and tactics
Partner with forecasting team on key brand forecast assumptions and business case development
Manage ad boards and KOL relationships
Plan and develop brand presence at key congresses, including promotional content and engagement plans
Lead development of annual strategic brand plan, tactical plan and manage global brand budget
At least 7 years of work experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with 3+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience required. Global marketing experience a plus
Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in either Oncology or Rare Diseases, and in particular Lung Cancer, strongly preferred
Brand launch experience preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with ability to drive alignment across functions and regions/countries, and lead matrix teams
Experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with an ability to communicate ideas to internal partners and external agencies, ability to clearly and succinctly communicate (verbally/written) at the executive level
Capable of leveraging data and analytics to distill insights and drive data-based decision making
Ability to operate independently to drive projects from conception to execution and pull through, gaining alignment from functions and countries
Established leadership traits with an ability to collaborate effectively, and positively influence decisions
