We’re looking for an Associate Brand Manager to help us fortify the foundations of the Slack brand, all while simultaneously pushing it into the future. We’re a scrappy team of strategists with a passion for brand storytelling, data-informed insights, and human truths. We create marketing that people care about. The Associate Brand Manager will help make meaningful connections between programs, cross-functional teams, and external partners. You are a champion of creative excellence, you know good work when you see it, and have spent time working closely with copywriters, designers, and art directors. You are flexible, gracious, and can solve any problem through ingenuity, empathy, and unflappable professionalism.

Things you’ll do:

  • Assist in the development of informed brand marketing creative briefs and steward work with our creative ops team.

  • Contribute to high-impact global brand programs, owning smaller pieces to begin with and scaling up over time.

  • Make an immediate impact in team’s organizational rigor by contributing insights and structure to team processes and documents.

  • Support in managing the global brand marketing budget; ensuring we’re buttoned up on proper PO submissions, tracking, approvals and spending to quarterly actuals.

  • Support brand efforts in boosting employee sentiment around Slack brand, assisting in advocating via roadshow or internal relationships.

  • Keep the team educated on the current competitive landscape by bringing relevant insights and implications for the Slack business to the table.

  • Help manage agency/vendor relationships and communications.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years in-house or agency experience

  • You have a passion for brand storytelling and value creative excellence

  • You are a dedicated and enthusiastic communicator and collaborator

  • You manage your time well and have experience juggling multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional team members

  • You think novel technologies can have a massive impact in how people connect with each other and work together

  • Passion for helping make people’s working lives simpler, more pleasant, and more productive.

  • Global experience a plus

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $83,200. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
