Overview:
The Assistant Product Line Manager will support the Entry Production Color Low (EPC-L), Light Production Mono (LPM) and Xerox Beyond CMYK portfolio and businesses. Primary responsibilities will be toassistthe product line manager in managing product offerings throughout the Product Lifecycle (cradle to grave), gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining product strategies, and working closely with engineering, to deliver benchmark products. The role includes working with global sales teamsinvarious routes to market, global marketing teams and customer support to ensure revenue, profit and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Assist the Product Line Manager in the following functions:
Define the LPM, EPC-L and Beyond CMYK offerings strategy and roadmap, including Digital Front End’s (DFE’s), feeding and finishing platforms.
Develop process for gathering customer requirements for future product requirements via Market Research, customer engagements and Industry Thought Leaders.
Assess market competition through competitive analysis of new offerings, analyzing market data, calling on customers with sales team and attending various customer engagements; be an expert with respect to the competition.
Establish and prioritize product goals for Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD’s) with program manager and renegotiate internally or externally with supplier, as required.
Work with sales and marketing teams to develop core positioning, pricing, go-to-market strategies and annual volume plans.
Support product marketing and training teams in developing sales tools, collaterals, messaging, product demo’s, etc.
Manage the Technical Financial Excellence (TFE) Process from Concept Initiation (CI) to Launch Readiness (LR).
Constantly monitor key business performance measures and engage appropriate personnel to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
Develop and manage business metrics / scorecard to ensure critical metrics are being met and taking appropriate corrective actions to drive the business.
Problem solving with Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service and Support to solve customer and business issues.
Qualifications:
Preferred 2+ years of work experience in a Business, Marketing or Engineering role.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Strong ability to analyze complex problems and make informed decisions; action oriented.
Self-Starter who takes on new responsibilities and identifies opportunities to grow the business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
International experience desirable.
BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business. MBA/MS preferred.
Understanding of Production and/or Office Printing Marketing desirable.
