Serves as an advisor to the Director in overseeing the Strategic Engagement team’s priorities, managing the D&I sponsorship portfolio, and co-leading Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in ensuring alignment with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and Company objectives. Responsible for promoting the Company’s D&I brand with national professional diversity conferences, leadership development programs, and sponsored events. Acts as a D&I subject matter expert (SME) and utilizes data driven HR and external business insights/networks and best practices to provide recommendations and solutions.
In partnership with Enterprise Sponsorship, Talent Acquisition, and D&I Enterprise Development, serves as a thought leader in the strategic planning of Liberty Mutual’s global D&I footprint.
Leads large, cross-functional teams across the enterprise to manage the sponsorship portfolio from conception to implementation with post debrief reports to track and document key highlights, metrics, and desired outcomes.
Liaison to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in ensuring alignment with D&I framework and Company priorities by advising, coaching, educating, and collaborating with leadership teams for sustainable, value-add initiatives.
Reviews and assesses national and local D&I leadership development programs for early career, mid-career, and executive level employees.
Manages key external vendor contracts and client relationships.
Partners and consults with Director on team’s day-to-day operations and budget.
Researches current and future D&I needs and trends shaping business and competency development. Assists with shaping solutions that draw the connection between diversity, inclusion and innovation for the company.
Represents D&I team and Liberty overall through internal speaking events, public panels/events and blogging.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive D&I experience with a highly, matrixed multinational company that includes managing ERGs and/or D&I councils, developing and facilitating D&I learning curriculum, and coordinating multicultural marketing efforts – corporate sponsorships; national diversity conferences; supplier diversity; community relations.
8 years of project management skills experience in the strategic, creative, and implementation of diversity & inclusion initiatives, projects, and programming.
At least, 5 years of HR experience in a multinational, highly matrixed organization. Budget management and analysis experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative data.
Client management and key stakeholder partnership experience with multicultural organizations and resources, internally and externally.
Ability to travel approximately 30-50% of time in support of sponsored events.
