Creative Experiences (Creative X) is a global, integrated creative agency that drives the creative vision for our brands and how they are perceived in the world. We develop all consumer brand content and experiences for the Facebook company, Facebook app, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp. Our vision is fearless creativity that redefines social. While we lead our team to create innovative films, content, and experience across our own channels, we also guide our lead agencies in the creation of content for TV, Print and OOH. This ensures a consistent and strong creative narrative for work that reaches an audience across the globe due to the scale of our apps. We are looking for an Art Director to join the team with a background in digital brand campaigns and product-first design and concepting. You must be comfortable working across owned and earned media channels. You're a conceptual thinker who can bring your ideas to life in new and inspiring ways using the power of Meta’s many platforms and technologies. You have a strong point of view on concept and design that can move people at scale. When you decide to make something, you see your vision from concept to launch. You have a strong passion for innovation and an exceptional sense of craftsmanship.

Required Skills:

  1. Design and concept in-product brand experiences, seizing both new and existing formats and surfaces that can be used to enhance a brand idea

  2. Develop ideas that are pushing the boundaries of product design and brand storytelling

  3. Communicate innovative brand ideas to stakeholders in clear, concise ways to both marketing and product audiences

  4. Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment with writers, engineers, strategists and product managers

  5. Create original, breakthrough work in a multi-disciplinary team

  6. Translate complex strategic approaches into easily accessible creative concepts

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience at agency/in-house concepting and art directing ideas for brand and product

  2. Experience working on digital, social and product-first campaigns

  3. Experience designing, art directing and articulating conceptual design decisions

  4. Experience bringing ideas to life with high quality comps and prototypes use creative software and other tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Cinema4D etc.)

  5. Experience in product design and design thinking

  6. Experience with self-initiated projects

  7. Experience working on international campaigns
