Meta Art Director, In-Product Creative - Messenger in Boston, Massachusetts
Summary:
The Messenger In-Product Creative team focuses on concepting, developing, and delivering new visual elements and interactive experiences in messaging. The Art Director will be responsible for inventing new user features, evolving current ones, and supporting product design collaborations.

Art Director, In-Product Creative - Messenger Responsibilities:
Sketch, storyboard, ideate, and generate new interactive concepts quickly based on stakeholder direction and research-driven inputs
Lead the design efforts in and around new interactive messaging experiences as well as product design group collaborations – including strategy-setting, sprinting, design exploration and detail-oriented execution
Work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with a small team including designers, motion designers, illustrators, and content strategists to fully realize final artwork
Take proposed design concepts into creative reviews, clearly articulating strategic thinking and design decisions to a variety of partners
Work independently, keeping project timelines on track and showing process

Generate ideas, inspire your teammates, give and receive feedback, and critique respectfully
Meet multiple deadlines, prioritize work, and keep projects moving forward
Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience working professionally as a designer, with skills in two or more disciplines: graphic design, brand design, illustration, interaction design

Experience publishing entirely new digital product features
Portfolio exhibits conceptual experience, interactive experience, technical skills and craftsmanship
Experience working on digital products that are interactive
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma

Experience with Origami Studio or any other prototyping tool
