Area Sales Manager III - New England Region
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Area Sales Manager III for Bayer's Public Health/Pest Management team, you will create demand at end user level within the given territory and work with Key Regional Pest Management Providers and National Accounts. To be successful in this role, you will support and work with our authorized distributors, and work with local & state associations. You will direct efforts to achieve sales goals in territory in accordance with regional marketing/ sales plans and develop new business for Digital Pest Management. This territory covers the New Enland Territory: New York, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut & Rhode Island. This is a residence based position.
The primary responsibilities of this role, Area Sales Manager III, are to:
Achieve Territory Sales goal of $4.6M.;
Create demand for Bayer products with Key Regional Accounts, National Accounts and at the end user level;
Analyze end user area sales, create a territory condition report monthly and propose market share development plans in alignment with business strategies to management on a quarterly and annual basis;
Prepare sales presentations, contracts, programs and proposals to Key Pest Management Professionals;
Participate in special projects such as major promotions, new product launches and new marketing initiatives;
Build and maintain relationship with the distribution network in the territory;
Drive the external distribution sales force (e.g. Distributer Sales Representative) to create value for Bayer range of product, create and monitor Key Performance Indicators to focus efforts on Bayer’s priorities;
Build and maintain relationships with local and state pest control associations creating a demand for Bayer products;
Capture speaking opportunities during association conferences, workshops and road shows;
Provide the high level of technical product training and support to the key customers and end users’ technical directors and managers;
Work with the Digital Pest Management team to create demand in territory and help achieve strategic business objective of the team.

Non degreed with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience or Bachelor of Science with at least seven years of relevant industry experience;
Responsible for the sell-out figures of assigned accounts in area;
Responsible for driving sales through assigned distributor branch(s);
Create direct sales to distribution for a value above $3.5M;
Good driving record.
