Calling all Analyst and Influencer Relations Directors! We’re looking for a creative and experience analyst relations professional with great communication skills to evangelize the most influential industry analysts. Help us share how we’re empowering customers to change the world.

You will play a critical, cross-functional role by working with subject matter experts at many different levels of the organization: executives, product management, product marketing, engineering, and sales. You will interact with people across GE Digital to build and nurture strong internal relationships that will be leveraged to engage with leading analyst firms, participate in vendor evaluations/ranking reports, brief analysts about our product offerings & go-to-market strategies, and work with the influencers to elevate our story. You have prior experience working in the industrial or enterprise software market with a strong understanding of technology and a strong background in market research, communications, data analysis, and competitive positioning. You enjoy growing and nurturing relationships and influencing analysts on GE Digital’s market strengths and differentiators.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute the Analyst Relations plan and objectives across energy sector industries

  • Evangelize the most influential industry analysts who work with existing or prospective customers

  • Coordinate briefings, inquiries, and analyst days and develop content for such engagements

  • Influence analyst research on GE Digital, our competitors, and the markets in which we compete

  • Own GE Digital’s participation in competitive evaluations such as Magic Quadrants, Waves, MarketScapes, Leaderboards, etc., in coordination with key stakeholders to improve GE Digital’s ranking in these influential reports

  • Identify customer references to speak with analysts in coordination with the content marketing team

  • Keep analysts apprised of significant changes and/or additions to the GE Digital portfolio

  • Prioritize and manage inbound requests for information, report reviews, speaking engagements, and customer references from analysts

  • Identify paid strategic research material from key analyst firms in coordination with the content marketing team.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS with 10+ years of experience in more than one functional area such as: analyst relations, product marketing, communications, or strategy roles in the enterprise or industrial software industry

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with Grid Software, Energy Markets or adjacent industries

  • NOTE: Can work remotely (from home) within US Ability to understand technical concepts Experience in establishing relationships, including proactive outreach and facilitating contracts.

  • Excellent written and oral communication.Strong proficiency with MS-Office software including presentation software (i.e. PowerPoint).

  • Results driven, organized with outstanding project management skills; prioritize tasks and work assignments, balancing multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and quality; adjust to changes in priorities and situations; complete work under pressure; meet deadlines

  • Organize and express ideas clearly and understandably when speaking to individuals or groups; listen to others and respond appropriately; and prepare/deliver presentations

  • Evaluate, analyze, and summarize data and facts with insight and brevity; establish logical connections; form sound decisions based on analysisNote: To comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years' experience required for any role based within the USA.
