Are you a communications professional looking to use your skills to help inform, engage and drive action across a practice that includes the US, North America, and Latin America? EY’s Americas Tax Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team has a unique opportunity to join our team as aCommunications and Engagement Supervising Associate. This role will work across Americas Tax, teaming with business leaders, stakeholders, specialists, and enabling teams to help drive key internal programs.

The opportunity

You’ll be responsible for supporting the design, development, and management of internal communications initiatives for various Americas Tax practice areas. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and build new ones, while teaming with other communications professionals to help develop and deliver messages aligned with Tax’s overarching goals and priorities.

Your key responsibilities

You’ll supportthe business function’s communication strategy, managing small-to-medium scale communications initiatives and working with the Americas Tax BMC team and key stakeholders to support the function’s objectives. You’ll gain experience across a wide array of communications, including developing content, engaging with subject matter experts, editing and writing, helping form communications plans, tracking effectiveness and engagement, and more. You’ll work across delivery channels for business function including email, intranet, videos, presentations, scripts, podcasts, and webcasts.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstrates understanding of advanced principles and concepts for communications

  • Possesses strong organizational skills, time management skills, attention to detail and quality

  • Works independently on communications projects and collaboratively with enabling team members, vendors, or stakeholders as required

  • Demonstrates outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience creating and editing marketing or communications collateral, including material for videos, websites and intranet, presentations, and email messages

  • Experience using content management systems

  • Knowledge of global business fundamentals

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in corporate communications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a business, marketing or communications major or equivalent work experience

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Communications experience in a large organization

  • Experience developing communications plans and tracking progress/results

  • Ability to manage complex projects and programs as well as navigate change, ambiguity and evolving stakeholder requests
