We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager- Tech to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy!

As a product owner, you will have end-to-end ownership of the customer experience, from defining the product vision through building and launching the product in partnership with front-end and back-end technical teams. In this role, you will work with a team of technical and non-technical stakeholders ranging from engineers, technical program managers and designers to product managers and marketers.

Key job responsibilities

You will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of creative, high-quality product roadmaps based on product strategy and vision

  • Assume end-to-end responsibility for the strategic value, usability, and performance of our products

  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, scope, and time to market

  • Work closely with frontend/backend engineering teams, design, and stakeholders in an agile environment to deliver products to market

  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues to help the team meet business, financial, and technical goals

  • Manage product planning and development through day to day collaboration and decision making with a cross-functional team including engineers, designers and business or subject matter representatives

  • Develop detailed, crisp user stories with acceptance criteria based on customer needs/experience and business requirements that can be used to create product specifications and architecture

  • Work with UX Research to design usability and research studies to inform product requirements and influence product design and experience

  • Define and analyzes metrics that measure and benchmark product success

  • Drive product launches including working with public relations/marketing team, customers, executives, and other team members

  • Play active role in optimization and process improvements between product, design, and engineering teams

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • 5+ years’ experience working with internal customer and technical teams to collect

  • requirements and define software services and features

  • 5+ years’ experience defining and delivering a roadmap; demonstrated ability to influence strategic product direction

  • Strong written and oral communication skill and experience presenting to senior Leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated decision making through business analysis and data, as well as with intuition and creativity

  • Experience leading new launches of consumer health products and services

  • 5+ years’ experience working on products and problems of a technical nature

  • Able to work with a high degree of autonomy through ambiguous circumstances

  • Strong sense of accountability, sound personal judgment and global business acumen

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic work environment

  • Healthcare experience specifically within Pharmacy or PBMs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
