As the AI Product Marketing Manager for Generative AI Hands-on Experiences, you'll ensure activations and interactive demos cohesively align with AWS's generative AI strategy. With deep expertise understanding AWS's AI/ML offerings and their integration, you'll provide strategic guidance on tailoring experiences to resonate with key audiences and industry use cases.

You'll work closely with product marketing teams to gain a comprehensive view of upcoming launches and strategic priorities. Leveraging this knowledge, you'll help drive cohesion and vision for the the development of impactful activation concepts that bring AWS's unified generative AI messaging to life through world-class demos and hands-on experiences.

You'll establish robust processes to efficiently gather requirements, prioritize opportunities, and provide clear direction to activation teams globally. Your comprehensive playbook resources will empower consistent execution that accurately represents AWS's generative AI differentiation through immersive activations.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and own the overarching messaging and positioning for generative AI activations, demos, and content at AWS events globally, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company's broader generative AI strategy and pillars.

  • Collaborate closely with service owners across the generative AI stack to curate engaging and impactful physical activations, demos, and narratives that showcase AWS's capabilities and differentiation in the market.

  • Identify and prioritize generative AI use cases, demos, and activations that resonate with key industry verticals and customer personas (BDM, Developer, Business User, ML Practitioner) across the AI stack.

  • Partner with the worldwide sales organization AI Demo Catalog Team, global Demo team, Thought Leadership teams, and individual service PMMs to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging, best practices, and training for generative AI activations at events.

  • Liaise with Industries teams to align generative AI demos, use cases, and content with specific customer segments and market needs for different geographies and events.

  • Contribute guidance, education, and best practices on generative AI messaging and awareness to the global events teams and agencies executing activations in various markets.

  • Collaborate with the keynote and thought leadership teams to ensure alignment between generative AI activations, demos, and the company's top-line messaging and key moments in time for generative AI product launches and storytelling.

A day in the life

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive resource hub for generative AI activations, demos, messaging, and best practices to enable global event teams and agencies to execute seamlessly.

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of generative AI activations, messaging, and positioning at events, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Report on customer reception of demos and activations to leadership, service PMMs, and demo creators to continuously bar raise then work with Sr. Events Manager to codify optimizations in the Activations playbook.

The AWS AI Builder Programs PMM team educates and inspires builders with AWS AI. Our purpose is to drive awareness, preference, and advocacy of AWS AI products by providing hands-on learning paths and practical skill building on AWS to support bottom-up integration of AWS AI for customers. We execute highly engaging builder experiences and intuitive learning gamification to build trust with users that will interact with our services, galvanizing our position as their trusted resource through useful and often delightful, playful experiences.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

  • Cross functional project management

  • Knowledge of the current generative AI product landscape, key use cases, and how it can be deployed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

  • Creative marketing campaign experience

  • Experience marketing experience

  • Expertise in physical interactive demonstration or immersive experience

  • Proven ability to translate messaging pillars into relevant, tangible demonstrations and examples.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
