Account Manager

Purpose:

Builds and maintains effective relationships with a defined customer base, primarily working with county government and some commercial clients, to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues. Identifies, develops and typically closes new sales opportunities. Serves as the primary interface for all products (such as software) and services , and creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.

Scope:

General :

  • Act as primary interface to assigned client accounts.

  • Focus Conduent resources to resolve client issues. Meeting on a scheduled basis with key clients.

  • Develops account plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities

  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices

  • Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives

  • Primarily domestic accountability; may include some international accountability

Responsibilities Include :

  • Meet key metrics related to client satisfaction, contract retention and incremental business

  • Primary point of client contact and build long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients

  • Develop a strong relationship with Conduent key business executives and stakeholders

  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied by providing exceptional client service

  • Act as liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to our customer needs.

  • Forecast and Track key accounts

Requirements :

  • Ten (10) years of experience in the field or in a related field delivering client-focused solutions – direct client facing

  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills, excellent listening, negotiating and presentation skills

  • Able to manage multiple projects at the same time

  • Competent with standard MS office tools and products

  • Must pay attention to the details

  • Must be self-motivated and results driven

  • Must possess critical thinking and problem solving skills
