As the Account Manager you will be directly responsible for managing client relationships and working with a team of research/data and creative analysts to meet our client's business objectives related to their Google and Bing Paid Search accounts. The ideal candidate will be someone with an extensive background in customer management and the ability to articulate the relationship between the multitude of available metrics and the desired business outcomes of our clients. You will need to be a positive contributor within a team environment and ensure that everyone is properly briefed on the client's objectives, the timeframe in which those objectives are to be met, and ensuring accurate execution.

What you will do:

  • Develop strong relationships and establish yourself as a trusted expert advisor with key stakeholders and executive sponsors

  • Work with the Analyst, Creative and Data Science team members on each account as well as the client directly to build a 90-day, Quarterly roadmap for each account.

  • Create, assign and manage tasks for Creative, Data Science and Analytics team members using tools including Asana and JIRA to execute a customer's Quarterly roadmap.

  • Host weekly/bi-weekly client meetings where you will present the most recent trends across the client's KPIs and facilitate the conversation regarding the client's objectives and steps the team will take toward meeting those objectives

  • Host Quarterly Business Reviews, focusing on the broader story of long-term performance and how working with MotiveMetrics allows the client to meet their business objectives in a way that they could not easily achieve otherwise

  • Work with a Research Analyst and Creative team to dig into the data, find meaningful info and identify actionable steps that can be taken towards improving performance

  • Communicate in an easily understandable way the relationship between the various metrics available to us and the business outcomes the client is seeking.

  • Research a wide variety of client business models, products/services, and understand the competitive landscape in which the client operates

  • Always working toward the goal of 100% client conversion and retention

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of client-facing experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Consulting or Sales, preferably in SaaS

  • 2+ years of digital media experience (preferably paid search)

  • Advanced knowledge of paid search channels and concepts a plus

  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization

  • Strong data analytics and strategy background as it relates to paid search accounts

  • A positive attitude and an eagerness to work as a member of a fast-growing team

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
