What You'll Do

As a Regional Sales Manager for the Global Data Center Sales team, you will be responsible for taking Cisco’s latest Creative Data Center offerings to market. You will work as part of a team that has a ‘start-up’ mentality, but with the full support, scale & resources of Cisco. You will craft the offers, promotions, programs, initiatives and campaigns that will help DC become Cisco’s next mult1-billion dollar business.

As our customers navigate the increasingly complex world of digital connectivity, they need IT to provide a platform that can dynamically respond to shifting needs. The new normal will leverage highly automated Data Centers, alongside the Public, Private & Hybrid Cloud. Cisco is crafting a rich portfolio of software and service solutions to meet these new requirements.

You will play a crucial role in the success of Cisco's strategy in the Application Centric Data Center. With offerings for Security, Policy Enforcement, Cloud Workload Protection and Network Assurance, you will be responsible for working on Cisco's newest and most groundbreaking entries into the Data Center market segment. A primary focus will be on Cisco new Data Center offerings, our new analytics platform that delivers transparency across everything in the data center in real time. It provides behavior-based application insight with deep forensics, while also building a highly secure and reliable zero-trust model. This dramatically simplifies the customer's operations, and allows them to make changes intelligently.

Who You'll Work With

This high profile sales role will require someone who can build programs that can scale across the globe. You’ll work cross-functionally across engineer, sales, marketing, and channel organizations to amplify the efforts of our account teams, partners and business units to drive revenue from new & existing customers. You’ll work directly with the Global sales leaders for Data Center Networking and will need to be comfortable presenting to large groups of Cisco sellers, to executive audiences, and to customers.

You will play a meaningful role in enabling Cisco to bring new products to market in both core and adjacent markets. You will be a central part of a global team will have fun working together and meaningful each other on a daily basis!

Who You Are

A successful & Senior Sales Professional with experience in the following areas:

  • Being at the forefront of understanding, and being able to communicate a strategy and vision in this marketplace.

  • You will have very strong leadership skills managing multiple size team

  • Building an in-depth business expertise in the underlying and associated technologies and architectures.

  • You will be able to demonstrate a hunting mentality to build and define a sales strategy for a distinct vertical or segments, as well as for global adoption.

  • You will execute on a business plan to gain market share, build proven relationships with customers and internal teams.

  • You will engage with clients, partners, account teams and cross-functional groups which will require some travel

  • You have experience influencing decisions externally and internally at all levels of an organization

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong listening and presentation skills
