Job Summary
The Sales Manager, Retail Media is responsible for supporting the BJ’s Media Edge™ business in nurturing prospects, growing existing account relationships, and creating new opportunities to drive overall program goals. This is an exciting sales leadership role in the newly formed Sales Organization and reports directly to the Sr Retail Marketing Manager to rapidly grow our Retail Media business. Your knowledge of Retail Media and Ecommerce combined with your communication skills will directly drive business.
Job Responsibilities
Planning and executing strategies and tactics for our top 10 accounts to consistently hit revenue targets
Build and lead an internal sale organization working on nurturing of key accounts across all verticals
Lead a team of salespeople to surpass revenue goals
Build strong working relationships with merchant teams to provide outstanding customer service, and drive revenue growth with accounts
Collaborate with cross functional Retail Media team – product, and analytics to maintain extensive product knowledge, understand product roadmap and leverage data led storytelling to drive program adoption
Co-Create communications for various stakeholders to share insights, action items, and pipeline in a timely fashion
Increase team productivity by developing them individually and by recognizing opportunities for creating new systems, structures, and processes
Be responsible for driving the future strategic direction of the business
Stay up to date with industry trends that are relevant to Retail Media, as well as general retail news
Qualifications
5-7 years sales marketing experience
Familiarity with Retail Media networks & retailers co-op environments is a plus, but proven track record and understanding of the AdTech world is a must
Ability to pitch digital advertising products and understand account goals. Keeping the pipeline up to date in our customer relationship management tool.
Strong focus on business goals and can approach accounts to achieve them.
A track record of high performance and achieving sales quotas.
Data-driven decision maker, and able to use data to formulate media proposals
