RoleSummary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the continued successful growth (achieved over previous years) in to the next phase of growth, which includes the acceleration in to new segments, adjacent markets and new customers. This individual will report to the Druck Executive Business Leader and dotted line to the Aerospace Pillar Leader. The individual will also be expected to communicate directly with the Senior Leadership team from the UK and the regional Commercial Leadership and Account Management team. This individual needs to be highly motivated, a self-starter who can influence and drive change to help achieve the growth aspirations. This person will the figure head for the North America Aerospace business within Druck, will be the senior person attending customer meetings from the region and will be responsible for presenting the strategy during Senior Business reviews.

EssentialResponsibilities:
In the role of Senior Product Manager, you will:
Develop robust business cases for new opportunities andhelp the commercial team develop a wider opportunity for single point opportunities
Develop a clear strategy to enable new and untappedmarkets to be penetrated in addition to leveraging the strong coreproducts
Identify key trade shows to attend within the region,which professional bodies to join and use of relevant market informationto help formulate a better understanding of current and future markettrends
Provide the commercial team with market intelligence todrive discussions with relevant customers and hold the commercial teamaccountable for creating new openings
Continually bench mark competition, understanding theirstrengths and weaknesses, to develop a strong value proposition and strategyfor taking share in a highly regulated market
Develop the strategies and tactics to enable profitable multi-yearsales growth, price increase, cost out and margin expansion
Develop strategies for growth including non-traditionalapproaches, inorganic and/or organic
Consolidate a clear and detailed growth model for theregion, capturing risk and opportunity over multi-year (10-year view)
Be regional point of escalation for all product relatedmatters
Assist with the closure of long-term agreements anddriving balanced negotiations with the customers, with the support of thecommercial / contract team
Consolidate the commercial Critical to Quality (CTQ)needs for new products (NPI’s) capturing and validating the Voice of the Customer
Own thecommercialization plan for New Product Introductions (NPI)and Major Customer Product Opportunities (CPO) through therespective processes
Work closely with the Program team and the Commercialteam, ensuring priorities are being met, whilst balancing key tasks withthe other critical business needs
Track new pursuits and provide the KeyStakeholders with regular updates and likelihood to win
Simplify the visibility of the customer ordering processand provide regular estimates of the status v plan
Provide the planning and operational teams with clear forecastingdata – consolidated view from the individual commercial team members
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineeringor technical field from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of sales, marketing and /or product management experience
DesiredCharacteristics:
Extensive experience within the Aerospace industry (10years )
Sensor / instrumentation experience within Aerospace industry experience -preferably pressure sensing
Master’sdegree in Engineering or related technical field
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Interaction with executive leadership,customers, and all levels of the organization
Proven history of results in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving ability
Ability to work with a clear mind, whilst under pressure
