Job Description

Teledyne FLIR Defense is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our mission-focused marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to drive demand and lead generation for our products and services within the domains of Unmanned Aerial and Ground Systems, Surveillance and Targeting, Hazardous Materials Detection (CBRNE) and Integrated Solutions. Your role will include creating and managing digital campaigns, developing email marketing and lead generation strategies, optimizing website content for search engines, and analyzing the performance of digital campaigns. Additionally, you will be responsible for exploring the potential of eCommerce for relevant products and services. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop strategies that align with the overall goals of the company and will be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and tools to ensure our campaigns are effective and efficient within these specific domains.

We’re looking for candidates with experience in an array of Marketing functions including Marketo or similar platforms, webpage creation (no coding required), webinar experience, and light video editing for social media. A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred. Job Responsibilities

  • Researching advertising trends and working with advertising agency to advise team

  • Having knowledge of competitor digital marketing trends in the aerospace and defense industry

  • Identifying and developing strategy to engage in professional forums as applicable.

  • Storyboarding, implementing, and tracking campaigns for product launches, white papers, webinars, and other lead/demand gen activities.

  • Maintaining contact database and publishing digital marketing content online

  • Implementing email marketing campaigns and measuring digital traffic

  • Monitoring social media, website analytics, and paid advertising campaigns

  • Reporting on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders

  • Conducting market research to inform campaigns and developing creative content for marketing campaigns.

  • Managing a pipeline of social media content, monitoring social media activity and competitor content

  • Maintaining an inventory of video products and working with key stakeholders to align content and social media strategy

  • Analyzing digital marketing plan and social media strategy, identifying weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements

  • Setting and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns and managing creative content using cloud-based digital asset management applications for use across the marketing team.
