Homology Medicines, Inc. Vice President, Program & Alliance Management in Bedford, Massachusetts

Homology Medicines is seeking an experienced and motivated Program and Alliance Management leader to join our uniquely collaborative Program Management (PM) team. The Vice President, Program & Alliance Management will lead the PM team and provide overall program and alliance management and strategic guidance across the company’s development portfolio. This key team leader will work with the Program Leads on program scope, strategy, timelines, deliverables, budget, risks, decisions and alignment with the corporate strategy and goals. The Vice President, Program & Alliance Management will bring their strong scientific background and familiarity with preclinical and clinical-stage drug development, including regulatory interactions, with the ultimate goal of developing gene therapy products that transform the lives of patients.

• Partner with program leads and with functional leaders to define and execute program strategies, drive teams to effective decisions within Homology’s team model, and proactively identify and escalate risks, gaps, and challenges; work productively and collaboratively with program leads to develop scenarios and solve problems.

• Reinforce and support team operating principles, best practices, and team building to ensure effective and high-performing teams.

• Provide leadership, strategic vision, and cross-functional communication to enable the P&AM team to meet the program and corporate goals.

• Ensure appropriate communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding plans, status, deadlines, requirements, logistics and other program-related issues.

• Develop and implement “best practices” for program planning, tracking, and reporting.

• 20+ years of direct experience across development stages: pre-clinical, clinical, pre-launch/commercial.

• Proven cross-functional leader with exceptional communication, influence management, and interpersonal skills.

• Experienced managing people/teams.

• Able to lead, engage, focus, negotiate, and to resolve conflict internally and externally across multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve key issues.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Combines attention to detail with big-picture strategic perspective.

• Must be collaborative, self-motivated, results-focused, and team-oriented.
