Pharma Analytics is a dynamic business that innovates and commercializes state of the art fully integrated solutions for rapid testing for impurities, contamination and product quality during biotherapeutics manufacturing. Our business is focused on providing confidence to our customers in the Bio-Pharma industry. We achieve this by providing products that ensure the safety and sterility of bio pharmaceutical drug manufacturing.

The Senior Product Manager, for Next Generation Sequencing Assays will be responsible for the development of products that demonstrate the power of NGS to deliver innovative solutions to our customers. Success in this role will require significant ability to lead a cross functional business, technical teams and have a deep understanding of next generation sequencing platforms and applications. You will also need a strategic mindset, a passion to understand and meet customer needs and an ability to execute on tight timelines. You will also be working globally with an eye towards specific regional needs and demonstrate an understanding of how to win in a globally diverse market.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for understanding and synthesizing customer needs and leading product development from concept through launch.

  • Provide leadership for product lifecycle and 5-year product roadmap. Responsibilities include five-year product line strategies, management across the customer value continuum for our NGS products

  • Work globally with a diverse set of customers and customer needs.

  • Conduct market research and understand the dynamics of the bio manufacturing testing and automation market.

  • Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) to document and quantitate market needs and translate customer requirements into product specifications.

  • Execute launch and marketing plans to ensure product acceptance and revenue goals.

  • Understand and evaluate competitive landscape to promote, differentiate, and position the product.

  • Establish and manage partnerships with customers, suppliers, and industry opinion leaders.

  • Work closely with outbound marketing, R&D and commercial leads, and will all partners in a matrixed environment.

How will you get here?


Masters or PhD degree in science, marketing or business management combined with relevant experience required.


  • 7+ years’ proven track record in Product Management, Marketing or Commercial roles required.

  • Consistent track record managing/marketing product portfolios, developing product roadmaps and strategy required.


  • Advanced knowledge and prior hands-on experience with NGS technology preferred.

  • Product management/marketing experience in Biotechnology, Bio-Pharmaceutical, Clinical diagnostics, or similar industries.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, relationship building, project management and planning/prioritization skills.

  • Proven ability to identify strategic opportunities, set aggressive objectives, and drive key business priorities.

  • Demonstrates strategic and tactical thinking; be creative and have the “big picture” viewpoint.

  • Ability to work independently in fast paced changing environment with deadline and resource constraints

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to tie detailed analysis to larger strategy

  • Results and proactive solution driven, the ability to think critically to overcome potential business hurdles to complete tasks

  • Strong business acumen and customer focus

  • Ability to travel up to 30% globally
