About the Role:

If you are a product marketer motivated by developing strategies that acquire new customers and expand relationships with current customers to exceed business goals, we want to talk with you.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Product Marketing Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans across DCN solutions to engage new customers and retain existing customers with a core focus to expand relationships across all segments.

In this role, you will use market and customer research, competitive intelligence, and analysis of industry/segment trends to develop effective and actionable sales and marketing strategies for each of the segments served.

You will collaborate with product management and sales to turn roadmaps into client-centric propositions mapping the customer journey to take audiences through the sales cycle; from awareness to consideration to purchase.

What you’ll do:

  • Understand the commercial construction market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to shape the marketing strategy and goals.

  • Partner with product development to gain a deep understanding of DCN’s product vision, functionality, and growth strategy to lead product launch plans and ensure on-time and successful execution across the business.

  • Define and drive messaging across all media and customer engagement channels, including go-to-market plans and sales enablement for DCN’s product solutions.

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and account management colleagues to support the goals of DCN solutions. Develop account targeting and market segmentation programs that will drive new customer acquisition, cross/upsell, and retention revenue.

  • Establish agreed-upon goals for all solutions and market segments, measure and refine go-to-market activities as needed.

  • Own messaging in partnership with Product Management and Sales to stay ahead of market trends, create a constant feedback loop with our customer’s needs and establish differentiated market positioning.

  • Create and maintain a library of content and sales tools; sales sheets, battle cards, customer presentations, competitive materials, website, social copy, and more.

  • Prepare market opportunity analysis; identify competitive products, market trends, audience segments, and pricing recommendations.

  • Get feedback and requirements from end-users and collaborate with subject matter experts and various departments to ensure product delivery and quality goals are achieved and maintained.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of product and growth marketing experience.

  • Background in B2B, preferably technology, data, or SaaS companies within or that serve the Commercial Construction Industry as a big plus.

  • A content writing style that can make complex solutions easily understood, mundane actions compelling, and engaging. Must bring a concise, customer-centric value proposition into every go-to-market message.

  • You are a team player, contributor, and coach all at the same time with the ability to foster relationships cross-functionally.

  • A collaborative attitude that understands success is achieved as a team. Partnering with colleagues to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

  • Ensure customer-facing teams, such as Sales and Support, know how to talk about the product externally and have the training and sales collateral they need.

  • Lead with an agile style that can thrive in an innovative, dynamic, and high-growth environment.

  • Support the evaluation of new opportunities to increase revenue and profits.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work/industry experience is required.
