Oracle Director - Standards, Communications and Branding in Bedford, Massachusetts
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency. Provides business practices and processes. Drives policies and procedures that monitor and support the organization*s operational and financial business objectives. Provides analysis and advice to management in the areas of operations, resource management, finance, revenue accounting, pricing, and/or contracts. May also be responsible for administration, knowledge management, and/or communications.
Develops and monitor PandL forecasts. Develops and monitor metrics to measure other key performance indicators and group performance. Performs competitive analysis. Creates pricing strategy and cost accounting (business modeling) for projects. Reviews contracts for terms, pricing and approvals. Work with account team to close deals. Interfaces with client to resolve contract/delivery disputes. May be responsible for directing resource management staff, ensuring maximum utilization. May be involved with compensation and bonus process. Manage at least two direct reports.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired.

Director - Standards, Communications and Branding
Lead team of specialized professionals to develop, deploy and govern adherence to learning standards, communication and branding. This role will provide strategic thinking, knowledge of standards management, knowledge of communication process, knowledge of Oracle branding; and generally be a very resourceful and charismatic leader who is able to effectively communicate insights and influence at all levels, drive cross-functional initiatives, and work effectively with multiple stakeholders in any situation.
Establish standards by collaborating with other members of management and with content creators, training delivery, and other business partners. Lead the development and maintenance of all standards documentation, style guides and other supporting documents. Lead the team in providing measurement tools, inspection process and dashboards to ensure adherence to standards, communications and branding. Lead communications approach for OSPA providing guidelines, templates and process to support all learning communications including web, email and other communications. Ensure knowledge and adherence to the Oracle branding standards and ensure processes that measure performance.
Work with OSPA leadership to ensure learning assets are created to global standards and best of breed techniques are developed, shared and then adopted into the core global framework. Participate in cross-regional governance boards to ensure alignment to regional business goals and prioritize regional training objectives.
Solely manages day to day operations of team and ensures divisional teams are operating optimally.
Engagement with manager to ensure new advancements are in line with corporate objectives and to provide status updates on execution of listed objectives.
Independent decisions are made daily.
Has budgetary and other financial accountability.
Manages cross divisional staff and global staff - including hiring, evaluating, and/or termination of employees.

A Bachelor s degree in marketing, learning, business or related fields. 10 years related experience, including 5 years of communications, standards management, learning and development, talent development, Six Sigma or business analysis/planning experience.
Content design experience at level 3 design with knowledge of design tools and desk top publishing.
Experience in instructional design methodologies leveraging design principles (ADDIE or Agile) and classroom training experience.
Experience working for a larger complex organization.
Experience deploying, building and managing operational standards, communication planning and branding strategies.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Excel (including pivot tables), PowerPoint and Word.
Experience or some knowledge of process documentation tools (Visio), communication tools (email, HTML, others).
