This Associate Product Manager position is part of the worldwide marketing department based in the IL Headquarters in Bedford, MA, USA, and is responsible for the development and implementation of the product(s) strategy and associated marketing programs globally.

Reporting to the Director of Worldwide Marketing, the Associate Product Manager works in coordination with the IL Headquarter departments in R&D, Operations, Quality Assurance, Regulatory and Medical Affairs to ensure comprehensive product(s) marketing management and support throughout the entire product(s) life-cycle.

In collaboration with other marketing units within the IL headquarters, and with the commercial teams from the company affiliates worldwide, the Associate Product Manager develops the marketing strategy and plans for the product(s) under his/her responsibility; provides technical and marketing support and training, develops and communicates the relevant marketing, scientific and clinical documentation, ensures continuous monitoring of market trends and competition.

Min Knowledge & Expertise required for the position

• Knowledge in Life Sciences: Medical Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry

• Bachelor’s degree in biological science, business administration or marketing disciplines, or equivalent.

• Prior experience in junior marketing product management positions

• Minimum two years’ experience in sales and/or marketing within the healthcare industry

• Highly desirable: prior experience in the in vitro diagnostic industry
