Advancements in renewable energy and clean energy storage are dramatically changing the energy ecosystem, driving the needs for mission critical components, systems and hardware/software enabled solutions. Sensata Technology’s rapidly growing Clean Energy Solutions (CES) business unit designs and manufactures mission-critical, highly engineered battery management, power conversion and power control solutions for specialty mobile and infrastructure-based end markets. Our CES business unit is seeking a Product Manager in North America to lead the team responsible for driving the growth of our High Voltage Contactors, Fuses, and Isolation Monitoring Devices (IMD) products lines.

The Product Manager will leverage strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, keen business acumen and inputs from a cross-functional global team to support a range of activities, from analyzing market trends, defining customer needs and evaluating the competitive landscape to developing winning product roadmaps and pricing strategies. He/she will interface regularly with global marketing, engineering, sales, and program management to position Sensata Technologies as the leading provider of high voltage electrical protection and sensing solutions.

The Product Manager will also be responsible for the strategic planning of a product portfolio and provide operational support for existing products. The role requires the ability to develop roadmaps on new and existing products that align with the company’s strategic, operational, and financial objectives.

• Participates in the development of actionable product roadmaps by integrating inputs from cross-functional stakeholders in our business objectives & product strategy Responsible for product positioning in the marketplace, including rationalizing pricing strategy based on market conditions Participates in developing product strategy and optimize product portfolio, providing planning and project prioritization Contributes to the pricing strategy through the product life cycle Provide support for operational issues associated with quality, delivery and production. Anticipating and communicating issues, recommending corrective action, and taking independent remedial actions and reporting outcomesExperience / Qualifications A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
