Staff VP Enterprise Benefits Administration, National Accounts

Responsible for the execution of Benefits for the National Accounts and Mega Custom Market segments within Enterprise Benefits Administration (EBA) organization, supporting NASCO, WPD, SPIDER and legacy systems. Accountable for establishing and executing strategic direction, Benefit Design consulting and working with the National Accounts team on defining solutions to meet complex custom account needs including support for early engagement in benefit definition, production support, pre-production audit and quality assurance on both current systems and destination platforms. Primary duties may include but are not limited to: Monitors modeling and configuration progress and quality of the migration, identifies & drives resolution of issues and risks, and adjusts schedule and strategy as needed to support business goals. Ensures the identification of all resources and knowledge bases needed are available. Provides leadership to develop an overall approach to improve benefits, end-to-end design, development, execution and quality through leveraging best practices for building a common set of capabilities across the enterprise and improving core competencies around benefits administration. Builds common standards, best practices and procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of benefits administration. Oversees inventory management especially during peak periods as related to Benefit Administration. Partners with business leaders to translate strategic direction into defined initiatives and tactical activities. Collaborates with IT to develop technology solutions to meet business objectives. Develops, produces and communicates Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track performance. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Staff VP Enterprise Benefits Administration, Strategy & Planning

Responsible for clearly defining and driving strategic goals within the Enterprise Benefits Administration (EBA) as well as the development, definition, and execution of EBA’s transformative roadmap. Partner with key strategic initiative leaders (i.e., Migrations, Modular, Rx 2020, Cost of Care, Transformation, etc.) and EBA organization to analyze, recommend, and prioritize measurable steps to achieve transformative improvements and growth factoring in multiple initiatives. Owner of Agile Product Configuration Agile Release Train, including prioritization and execution of transformative initiatives; Conducts regular organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses to evaluate operational effectiveness and revise transformational roadmap as needed. Understands the various ongoing work efforts within EBA from a comprehensive end to end perspective and ensures work is not duplicated, gaps are filled, and all upstream and downstream functions and business owners. Identifies and removes roadblocks for execution against strategic goals and transformational roadmap. Maintains and adjusts EBA Transformative Roadmap as goals, decisions, and company directions change. Creates business case models to communicate benefits and return of strategic investments or other strategic recommendations. Uses data analysis to make key conclusions for comprehensive recommendations. Utilizes leadership skills to manage largescale cross functional initiatives and applies Agile Framework methodologies to create sustainable processes for work intake, work prioritization, and resource prioritization model for EBA transformative projects. Provides leadership to develop an overall approach to improve benefits organization, end-to-end design, development, execution leveraging best practices delivery models for building a common set of capabilities across the enterprise and improving core competencies around benefits administration. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Staff VP Enterprise Benefits Administration, Modeling and Quality

Responsible for the oversight, execution, and continuous improvement of end to end Modeling and Quality of benefits on all platforms within the Enterprise Benefits Administration (EBA) organization. Accountable for the overall execution of end to end Modeling activities for all impacted and downstream systems. Responsible for the overall end to end Quality activities for the EBA organization to include but not limited testing, tools, root cause analysis, and quality process improvement. Creates and maintains a Modeling and Quality Center of Excellence to develop and implement best practices for the EBA organization to include methodologies, reporting/ metrics, process improvement, training, staffing plans, and career development paths. Collaborates with IT and Business leaders to develop Modeling and Quality solutions to meet business objectives within agreed upon timeline and roadmap. Owns EBA work intake methodologies, tools, and prioritization activities with the support of key partners. Maintains key performance metrics on quality data (i.e., audits, build yield, quality scorecards) as key input for strategic business and IT decisions. Owns EBA vendor relationships ensuring the execution of benefit design, modeling, configuration efforts, and quality / testing efforts. Must have strong leadership and technical skills with ability to conduct root-cause analyses, implement strategic testing techniques and tools. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Staff VP Enterprise Benefits Administration, National Accounts

Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 10 years of experience with deep and extensive business knowledge, including operations, product knowledge, benefit customization, sales processes, underwriting, familiarity with IT and Enterprise Program Management Office processes, including 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Ability to travel required

Staff VP Enterprise Benefits Administration, Strategy & Planning

Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 10 years of experience with deep and extensive business knowledge, including operations, product knowledge, benefit customization, sales processes, underwriting, familiarity with IT and Program Management processes, including 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Ability to travel required.

Staff VP Enterprise Benefits Administration, Modeling and Quality Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 10 years of experience with deep and extensive technical and business knowledge, including modeling, configuration, leading IT teams, testing, operations, product knowledge, benefit customization, and program management processes, including 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Ability to travel required.
