Job Summary:

Leader in GBD Implementation Management Office, responsible for leading the execution of GBD growth initiatives, with primary responsibility for the execution of Medicaid and Medicare Alliance growth projects. Excellence in program management best practices, change management and executive communications are key. Also responsible for the early stage discovery and operating model work done pre-execution for alliance partnerships, and liaison to Medicaid and Medicare business development for their Alliance execution pipeline. This role requires exceptional integration thinking and strong matrix leadership as the scope of projects includes deliverables from across GBD, Client/Alliance Partner, and shared service organizations.

Essential duties may include but not limited to:

  1. Portfolio management for the full slate of GBD growth projects, and primary responsibility for execution health of Alliance portfolio.

  2. Oversight for all work intake, production support prioritization, resource management, and process/procedure within IMO scope.

  3. Working closely with P&L and IT leadership, maximizes system investments and efficiencies necessary to successfully execute on growth projects.

  4. Directs the establishment and enforcement of standardized program management and change management best practices for the IMO.

  5. Manages the business risk associated with the delivery of new solutions and enhancements.

  6. Ensures facilitation and integration to all enterprise solutions delivery initiatives between business leads, IT and enterprise counterparts.

  7. Performs other duties as assigned.

  8. Management responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, counseling and evaluating performance of direct reports.

  • B.A. degree required, Masters preferred.

  • 15+ years experience managing and directing large scale projects in a complex business and systems environment.

  • Experience executing large and complex portfolios and programs.

  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred.

  • Medicaid and Medicare experience strongly preferred.

  • Microsoft Office Projects required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interface with and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and stakeholders.

  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills.

  • Highly advanced strategic management and organization skills.

  • Strong IT architecture, systems conversion, process reengineering and operations experience.

  • This position will also drive human resource development in the area of business analysis.

  • In depth experience with project management methodology and tools including testing and QA practices.

  • Leadership in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions.

  • Multi-site system environment experience.

  • Leadership skills across geographic and lines of business to drive change.

  • Extraordinary ability to influence behavior.

  • Ability to create and sell strategic project management solutions.

  • Alliance and consensus building capabilities required to drive project management solutions.

  • Estimated 10% travel required.
