Job Summary:

Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) is seeking a New Product, Proposal and Strategy Senior Manager to join the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Leadership Team. This position will be the leader of a diverse organization of > 50 employees (touch and support) responsible for all CCA proposal submissions, production of New Product CCA designs for key franchise pursuits, development and execution of long term CCA strategy, as well as act as the Operations liaison for the development, execution & maintenance of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology CCA roadmap, including Industry 4.0 initiatives.

The New Product, Proposal and Strategy Senior Manager will provide cross-functional leadership of the multi-disciplined CCA team. Championing Enterprise Collaboration through RTX by bringing best in class solutions for CCA manufacture that deliver innovative manufacturing and advanced capabilities and minimal program risk. This position reports to the CCA Director and is in a fast paced, customer/program driven environment - is a key enabler leading strategic growth with regular interactions with senior leaders across RMD Operations and other functions. This role is a key member of the RMD East Operations extended leadership team requiring cohesive engagement with the other directorates within operations.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Coordination of manufacturing resources and strategy required to support ongoing operations for cost quality and schedule of newly-designed product introductions

  • Ensure operational excellence across the CCA Manufacturing process from planning through production, shipment and customer support

  • Technical engagement with programs and with customers to accelerate MRL/TRL in support of product development within the Value Stream is also to be expected

  • Engage with program proposal teams to ensure timely submission of CCA proposals in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR)

  • Lead the implementation and integration of digital technology toolsets and Industry 4.0 initiatives across the CCA organization

  • Periodically travel domestically

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

  • 12 years of experience to include working within Operations, Manufacturing or similar production schedule driven environment

  • Experience in leadership and / or management in a cross-functional organization such as operations, manufacturing and / or program management

  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance

  • Experience collaborating and building strong cross-functional teams gained from leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, program management or similar for a complex product domain, high-technology or large corporate environment

  • Prior experience leading in a DoD manufacturing environment

  • Extensive experience utilizing Shop floor data systems (ideally VM or cMES)

  • Experience with Six-Sigma and lean manufacturing processes

  • Demonstrated use and deployment of data analytics to solve complex problems affecting operations

  • In-depth knowledge of business systems and the integration of systems to gain operational efficiencies

  • Excellent organizational, customer service, communication, presentation, and team building skills

  • Ability to execute against tight deadlines and capable of working beyond the typical 40-hour work week

  • Understanding of Missiles & Defense (RMD) product structures and product technical details

  • Experience with FAR proposal submission requirements

    This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
