This position will support business development team and Medicaid partners on Service Operations innovation; Service Operations including representation of the following businesses - Business Development, Enrollment, Provider Network, Member Claims, Encounters and Cost Containment.

This position is responsible for coordinating the relationship of a business unit with internal partners to ensure growth and compliance. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitors related legislation and advises senior management relative to compliance.

  • Researches new ventures and prospective revenue expansion opportunities.

  • Assists in creating company's strategic and annual plans.

Requirements

  • a BA/BS degree in a related field;

  • 10 years of related strategic planning, project and program management experience with knowledge and experience in the products and services of the respective industry;

  • 5 years of experience in a senior management position;

  • or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • MBA preferred.

  • revious cross functional project management experience in health care setting preferred.

  • Managed Care experience is required

  • Medicaid experience is required.

  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Must have strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Must have strong presentation and leadership skills.

  • Travel up to 50% is required at times, but not likely required year round; average travel will be 25%.

The preferred location for this role is Virginia Beach, VA. Other locations will be considered.
