Philips Manager, Sales and Operations Planning in Andover, Massachusetts

  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for monthly, quarterly, and yearly demand forecasts.

  • Set up and manage the monthly medium/long term planning process and the weekly supply-demand planning process of all assigned product groups

  • Maintain KPI’s that measure success of objectives and drive continuous improvement in the S&OP process.

  • Assist finance in creating inventory targets.

  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.

  • Work with Marketing on incorporation of promotions into forecast.

  • Manage relationship with commercial operations, sales, service, clinical, factory and business leadership.

  • Manage phasing in / phasing out of assigned product-types according to the New Product Introduction Process in close cooperation with product/marketing management. The aim is to introduce new products in-time and phase-out products without obsolete finished products and components.

  • Manage through supply allocation situation to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction while minimizing inventory impact

In this role, you have the opportunity to…

Facilitate and drive results in a fast paced and demanding environment. Apply intimate and in-depth knowledge of supply chain, commercial operations, project management, and healthcare market to implement innovative supply chain strategies. Drive the SIOP process to ensure: accurate forecast, equipment availability and appropriate inventory level, and timely revenue execution specifically for the Patient Monitoring business line.

You are a part of a team

The S&OP Manager for Patient Monitoring is an individual contributor role that is part of a team of S&OP Managers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. You will work closely with the Project Management and Factory teams to understand opportunities and risks to business performance.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • MBA highly preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in demand management, planning, and supply chain management

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other functions to achieve overall business objectives

  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem solving skills

  • Must thrive in a fast paced environment requiring a high level of collaboration

  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management both inside the company and with customers

  • Understanding of supply chain concepts and their financial impact

  • Demonstrated track record in leveraging continuous process improvement to resolve complex supply chain, project management or implementation issues

  • Self-starter with ability to work in a matrix environment

  • Advanced knowledge of databases and MS Excel are required
