Raytheon Company, Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Business has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Contracts that is willing to accept a high degree of responsibility in a rapidly growing and complex product line working within the global Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Business Area with 2018 projected Sales >$2B. Primary responsibilities will include supporting, as Contracts lead, the PATRIOT Systems Business Area, which is comprised of numerous U.S. domestic and European Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs with 2018 projected Sales of $700M . Lead responsibility over twelve (12) Contracts professionals with a focus on developing strategic and innovative contract solutions, engaging and collaborating with Integrated Business Team (IBT)/Cross Business Team (CBT) business partners, advising program leaders of contracts rights and obligations, and means to mitigate contractual/program risks. Contribute substantially to the strategic growth goals of the business area and proactively develop effective internal/external customer relationships. Front end involvement in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract execution and customer relations. This individual should possess prior knowledge of, and a thorough understanding of, Department of Defense (DoD), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), International Direct Commercial Sales (IDCS), and Offset / Industrial Participation. Reports directly to the Sr. Director, Contracts for IAMD Programs. Key Accountabilities include: Provide strategic thought leadership to develop innovative contracts solutions within Domestic and International customer environments Achieve program and business area objectives and ensure solutions are aligned with domestic and international acquisition processes Establish credibility and trusted, purposeful relationships with business partners, employees, and domestic and international customers Engage in business area issues to drive expeditious closure Own all aspects of IAMD Patriot Systems Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Objectives and Business Area strategies Lead twelve (12) Contracts professionals responsible for supporting numerous multi-million dollar complex contracts Ensure successful governance/compliance of the program. Basic Qualifications: Minimum 14 years of prior relevant experience Minimum of 10 years of experience in business leadership in contracts, supply chain and/or program management or other related area Defense Industry experience in companies that bring technology products to market in heavily regulated industry Experience with US Government customers in the acquisition and user communities Experience with International customers and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracting Experience leading in a multinational company Proficiency in Contracts fundamentals BA/BS Degree in Contracts, Business Management, Finance, or related discipline.
