Job Summary
The Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Coordinator, in conjunction with the Isenberg MarCom team, implements programs and executes plans associated with marketing efforts throughout Isenberg undergraduate and graduate programs. This position works closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the Assistant Directors of Marketing and Communications to coordinate, organize and activate Marketing and Communications team activities and projects designed to support Isenberg School of Management’s (ISOM) mission and brand.
Essential Functions
Develops and distributes marketing materials for Isenberg programs and departments in consultation with the Assistant Director of Communications.
Partners with the Assistant Director of Marketing to plan and execute engagement efforts for recruitment and alumni messaging campaigns.
Acts as first point of contact for stakeholders requesting support from the Marketing and Communications team, manages workflow and expectations professionally and promptly.
Communicates information proactively and independently to meet the needs of internal constituents, including leadership, faculty, students, and staff, with a focus on delivering consistent messages. Helps Isenberg constituents ensure external information is up to date and timely, aligned with Isenberg website materials.
Responsible for maintaining, completing edit requests, and creating quality content on the Isenberg website while also providing guidance and recommendations to be sure the content is presented in the best way possible to benefit the user experience and maximize SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
Oversees presentation and promotion of Isenberg School of Management's calendar of activities in a way that adheres to a consistent standard of quality for the Isenberg brand. This requires adding information to websites, creating and sharing supporting collateral and promoting on public multimedia systems and social media.
Manages office needs and coordinates with other departments and vendors to keep the staff spaces organized, supplies on hand and daily operations on track.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
Bachelor’s Degree.
Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Suite.
Familiarity with Social Media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
Broad working knowledge of advanced features of office productivity tools, and experience with software used for graphic production, website content management, and project management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with faculty, staff, and administration credibly and authoritatively.
Must be self-directed, and able to coordinate multiple and diverse tasks.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to set work priorities, coordinate multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to take on new challenges and tasks as needed.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
Typical office environment.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
This position has the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, which is defined by the University as an arrangement where an employee’s work is regularly performed at a location other than the campus workspace for a portion of the week. As this position falls within the Professional Staff Union, it is subject to the terms and conditions of the Professional Staff Union collective bargaining agreement.
