Job Summary

The Marketing Analyst works closely with the Director of Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) to support utilization of data from multiple channels/platforms in shaping, assessing, and optimizing marketing campaigns managed by the University’s central marketing team. The Marketing Analyst’s primary area of responsibility is to assist with analytics of lead generation campaigns in support of online education programs. The Marketing Analyst’s responsibilities include creating and maintaining analytics dashboards, campaign reports, email marketing reports, and business intelligence reports. The Marketing Analyst works collaboratively with other members of the marketing team, other University departments, and external vendors.

Essential Functions

  • Creates and maintains marketing analytics dashboards drawing data from multiple sources — including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, and vendor reporting systems — using Tableau, Google Data Studio, and other solutions as needed.

  • Collaborates with the CRM Director and colleagues in Online Education, Web Services and the University’s schools and colleges to ensure multi-directional data flow and effective sharing of marketing intelligence insights.

  • Collaborates with the CRM Director to devise and implement and improve effective processes for data gathering and distribution across multiple departments and various channels.

  • Assists the CRM Director, Chief Relationship Officer and colleagues on the marketing team with ad-hoc requests for reporting and analysis of data from sources including campaign platforms, conversions (enrollments and/or applications), and research.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field and five years’ experience in data science, statistics.

  • Knowledge of relational databases, relationship marketing strategic marketing principles, promotional strategies, and/or online marketing.

  • Strong quantitative analysis skills.

  • Experience with marketing and web analytics.

  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools.

  • Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)

  • Experience with web design, CRM, marketing, advertising, or related area preferred.

37.5 hours week, M-F
