Insulet Corporation Senior Marketing Manager – Consumer Acquisition in Acton, Massachusetts

As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will get to help make this a reality in two major ways:

  • Develop marketing programs that exceed consumer expectations—from before they are a customer of ours all the way through to becoming a product advocate

  • Optimizing current campaigns for growth and efficiencies. As you push forward, your work will help drive several impactful KPIs across the organization, including customer base growth, conversion, and retention. This role provides a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, acquisition, and tech to drive brand new, highly-visible, and impactful initiatives that positively change the lives of people living with diabetes

  • Identifies, develops, manages and implements a portfolio of marketing programs; both traditional and digital to drive acquisition, conversion and retention

  • Works with wide range of partners across the organization to gain buy-in and bring consumer lead marketing vision to market

  • Partner with senior & executive team members and manager to establish and evaluate metrics and performance benchmarks for all consumer marketing programs

  • Share successes with global marketing organization and aid where possible to translate US marketing successes for global consumption

  • Leverage highly effective written and verbal communication skills with peers and leadership; help represent the Marketing organization to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership

  • MBA strongly preferred or Bachelor's degree (with a concentration in Marketing) required

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a consumer marketing-driven organization

  • Has a proven track record of driving acquisition through new and innovating marketing techniques

  • Ability to develop business case for new programs, including demonstrating potential ROI

  • Understanding the role of mobile in the consumer journey and make UX / optimization recommendations

  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally, specifically in areas of continuous improvement to achieve key business targets

  • Has a track record of managing agencies and using analytics to inform decision making

  • Has partnered with agencies to develop marketing communications and managed paid media campaigns, including media recommendations, creative development and implementation

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience managing Junior Marketing members, supporting agencies and consultants

  • For direct report(s) experience developing quarterly reviews, POAPs and build development plans

  • Brings other experiences to the group and is prepared to help in other areas of marketing as required

  • Desire to make a significant impact on the lives of those with diabetes, their families and friends

  • Experience with diabetes and medical device and / or healthcare experience / HIPPA regulated products preferred

  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data to make recommendations: you don’t need to be an Excel whiz (though it always helps!) but you do need to be comfortable thinking and talking about analytical questions

  • Demonstrated track record of leading both development and execution of strategic plans to drive customer acquisition and improve retention

  • Proven track record of ideating and launching new to market customer acquisition initiatives

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and project manage multiple key business partners

  • Intellectual curiosity, including the willingness to dig in and learn more about things

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including advanced PowerPoint and the ability to present concisely to influence others

  • Advanced working knowledge of marketing tactics and the ability to integrate across channels preferred; this includes experience with relevant Marketing technologies, (Salesforce, marketing cloud, Google Analytics, WordPress, Drupol and Marketing Automation, etc) Understands Systems and data management. Solid technical chops.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work on multiple priorities and willingness to have some fun along the way!

Physical Requirements:

  • Travel can be up to 30% per quarter

  • International travel strong possibility

  • Expected to attend all project related, consumer events, tradeshows or conferences
