Insulet Corporation Marketing Manager, HCP in Acton, Massachusetts

As an HCP Marketing Manager, you will get to help make this a reality in two major ways:

  • Develop digital marketing programs that exceed HCP expectations—from before they are a prescriber of Omnipod to becoming a product advocate

  • Optimizing current HCP campaigns for growth and efficiencies. Your work will help drive several impactful KPIs across the organization, including HCP base growth, and Omnipod utilization.

  • Direct to HCP digital marketing: Responsible for direct to HCP marketing including but not limited to message development, digital tool creation, promotions, digital campaigns, email campaigns, HCP website management and modification, and projects for current and future platforms.

  • Peer to Peer digital HCP marketing: Responsible for digital Peer to Peer to HCP marketing including but not limited to Peer to Peer digital programs like webinars and promotions for current and future platforms.

  • Metrics and ROI: Responsible for determining metrics and tracking ongoing ROI for each promotion or HCP marketing project responsible for to define value of program and modify as necessary to maximize impact. . Partners with senior & executive team members and manager to establish and evaluate metrics and performance benchmarks for all HCP marketing programs. Responsible for maintaining a monthly scorecard to report out on metrics

  • In-depth understanding of Diabetes Market and HCP needs: Responsible for an in-depth understanding of HCP needs to identify digital HCP marketing opportunities to meet sales goals and deliver on business objectives.

  • HCP marketing strategy: Owns the strategy for digital HCP marketing while also contributing to the broader HCP marketing strategy.

  • Champion and support HCP marketing initiatives and serve as a voice of the HCP:

  • Identify and prioritize HCP marketing opportunities by working with cross functional teams and HCPs, and sales team.

  • Understand and prioritize projects, needs and importance through primary and secondary market research, sales data, internal input, including but not limited to one-on-one customer interviews, focus groups, qualitative market research and web-based surveys.

  • Direct to HCP digital product Commercialization and On Market Support:

  • Work with marketing team (upstream and downstream) to develop commercialization strategies, tactics and rollout plans for digital HCP marketing.

  • Lead digital HCP product launch plans in collaboration with upstream marketing, consumer marketing, sales teams and internal cross functional teams.

  • Develop creative strategies and marketing tools

  • Global and consumer cross functional work: Works directly with the Global marketing and cross functional teams to drive HCP digital functional support, alignment and marketing. Additionally, works directly with the consumer marketing team for new product launches as well as to ensure alignment in messaging, projects, and strategy for current products.

  • Partner promotions: Work on and create partner co-promotions to drive HCP Omnipod utilization through digital channels.

  • Flexibility: is prepared to help in other areas of marketing as required

Work Experience Demonstrates

  • Has a proven track record of driving acquisition through new and innovating marketing techniques

  • Ability to develop business case for new programs, including demonstrating potential ROI

  • Understanding the role of mobile in a customer’s journey and make UX / optimization recommendations

  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally, specifically in areas of continuous improvement to achieve key business targets

  • Has a track record of managing agencies and using analytics to inform decision making

  • Has partnered with agencies to develop marketing communications and managed paid media campaigns, including media recommendations, creative development and implementation

  • Bachelors Degree with at least 8 years’ relevant experience in marketing in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry (or other relevant industry) or MBA with 6 years of related experience.

  • Desire to make a significant impact on the lives of those with diabetes, their families and friends

  • Experience with diabetes and medical device and / or healthcare experience / HIPPA regulated products preferred

  • Self-starter that is assertive, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity, and demonstrates good executive presence.

  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence partners in other functional areas.

  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data to make recommendations: you don’t need to be an Excel whiz (though it always helps!) but you do need to be comfortable thinking and talking about analytical questions

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills with peers and leadership; help represent the Marketing organization to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership

  • Demonstrated track record of leading both development and execution of strategic plans to drive customer acquisition and or HCP utilization to drive results

  • Proven track record of ideating and launching new to market initiatives

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and project manage multiple key business partners

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including advanced PowerPoint and the ability to present concisely to influence others

  • Advanced working knowledge of marketing tactics and the ability to integrate across channels preferred; this includes experience with relevant Marketing technologies, (Salesforce, marketing cloud, Google Analytics, WordPress, Drupol and Marketing Automation, etc) Understands Systems and data management. Solid technical chops.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work on multiple priorities and willingness to have some fun along the way!

Physical Requirements:

  • Travel can be up to 25%

  • International travel strong possibility

  • Expected to attend all project related, HCP events, tradeshows or conferences as well as monthly field ride
