American Tower Senior Designer in Woburn, Massachusetts
The Senior Designer is the creative team leader for the Marketing Department and works closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing team to understand project goals and support a variety of marketing program executions. The Senior Designer will be responsible for the end-to-end creative development of communications and campaigns. The incumbent will make necessary updates to existing materials, develop design concepts and ideas to update and enhance the American Tower brand, and design and create templates for external use.
_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_ * Oversee the art direction for all projects developed by the creative team. * Build designs, concepts and layouts for marketing collateral (50% online/email, 25% presentations, 25% print), including but not limited to HTML e-mails, sell sheets, PowerPoint presentations, print advertisements, microsites, landing pages, videos, and other marketing materials. * Partner with the front-end developer and outside resources to execute a refresh of the American Tower website; understand capabilities, plug-ins, and other resources available to enhance/update the website; create comparisons that work with the specifications set forth by the front-end developer. * Leverage UX experience to create designs for other online assets and properties. * Review and test web page and online marketing materials, including performing cross-browser testing, troubleshooting HTML/CSS, and checking for adherence to best practices. * Create and manage a library of image assets, including but not limited to photography, icons, infographic and user interface elements, wireframe and prototype templates, custom graphics, etc. * Ensure all marketing materials are on-brand by adhering to brand guidelines and work with the Marketing team to develop improvements and updates to the guidelines. * Lead and participate in creative brainstorming sessions with internal stakeholders for customer-facing campaigns and marketing collateral. * Provide mentoring to Designers and other members of the Marketing team to share best practices, enhance collaboration and build technical skills. * Develop various templates to ensure overall consistency. * Provide general design and production support.

*QUALIFICATIONS*: * Strong understanding of design methodologies, color theory, and typography. * Creative thinker. * Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results * Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs * Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively * Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment * Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external customers and vendors. * Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions. * Must have a positive attitude with a strong desire to enhance American Tower’s brand across all marketing materials.
*ENVIRONMENT*: 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Less than 5% travel will be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
