The Red Hat Middleware team is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you'll support the product marketing for the Business Automation solutions portfolio within the Red Hat JBoss Middleware suite. You will work closely with the Engineering, Product Management, and Product Marketing teams and with our field community of account managers, partners, solutions architects, and consultants to craft marketing strategies and content for the development of an effective marketing program. You'll support the development of a compelling marketing plan to create success within the global team, and you will help support the efforts of our regional field marketing teams. We'll need you to have solid market experience and some technical experience with application development, business process management, or business rules products.
Primary job responsibilities
Ensure marketing plans align with market directions and support the product roadmap and releases
Collaborate with field marketing teams to create marketing collateral, including presentations, whitepapers, and case studies
Participate in GTM engagements like roadshows, workshops, webinars, solution and offerings demos, and industry and partner events
Support sales teams where required in high-touch accounts worldwide
Work with alliance and ecosystem partners and partner teams to develop joint value propositions and marketing plans
Coordinate with other teams to create marketing proof points specific to customer references, case studies, sales plays, etc.
Work with product management to understand product roadmaps and features, and contribute to product strategy and plans
5-10 years of software industry experience; experience in an area of enterprise software, e.g. application platforms, business process management, business rules
5+ years of product marketing experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, marketing; MBA is an advantage
Record of success in a fast-moving, technical environment
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to articulate a value proposition and promote a product to a wide range of audiences from highly technical to C-level
Ability to be meet deadlines and handle multiple projects at once
Domain knowledge and experience with open source projects is an advantage
Willingness to travel
