Job Description

The Regional Market Category Manager is a member of the Marketing & Campaign Planning team, part of Marketing Planning and Execution, who drives regional lifecycle management and product launch support activities, in close partnership with sales. In this role, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the In-the-home product category within the Americas region, analyzing the category and recommending lifecycle activities to improve product performance across sales channels in region. This candidate will bring a highly motivated, collaborative and passionate spirit to the role, and demonstrate the ability to quickly get up to speed and immersed into the new role.

Core Responsibilities:

The Regional Market Category Manager will be responsible for:

  • Launch Support:

  • Recommend and drive leadership alignment on regional launch dates

  • Provide new product regional pricing and context

  • Support regional product launches as required

  • Lifecycle Management:

  • Represent the In-the-home product category on the Regional Sales Leadership team

  • Provide regional insights to product/software/partnership teams regarding market conditions to be considered for product plans

  • Use market data and insights, and identify ways to contribute to product growth across sales channels in the market. Identify category opportunities and Bose action

  • Provide cross category view per region of Lifecyle plans to set priorities and feasibility

  • Provide inputs for category Lifecyle initiatives

  • Develop fiscal year promotional plan recommendations that include offers, key drive times, and end of life opportunities. Gain alignment with Regional Sales Leadership team on promotional plan and manage promotions intake document and approval process

  • Manage all communications of promotion approvals and plans

  • Facilitate the promotions retrospective, in close collaboration with Global Planning and Marketing Analytics

  • Lead end of life planning and coordination

  • Category Communications:

  • Present new products and represent category to internal (sales, training) and external stakeholders (resellers) as needed
