POSITION SUMMARY:

The Audience Solutions Foundry team within Aetna s Martech & Digital Experience function is seeking a Customer-obsessed, Digital Product Director with a proven track record of practical innovation and collaborative execution. The Product Director will assess digitally-enabled product opportunities, define and drive the development in a fast-paced and start-up like environment. You will balance customer and business needs impacting adoption metrics as well as business results, be it growth, efficiency and/ or loyalty. Customers could include internal front-line employees (e.g., sales reps, customer service and operations, care management) or external constituents (plan sponsors, brokers, providers, members or consumers).

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer problems, needs and wants. Recommend innovative or re-imagined digital solutions that enable sales, increase engagement and raise satisfaction

  • Provide thought leadership and own/ drive the execution in an agile and lean startup way through idea, prototype, pilot, full-scale production launch and ongoing optimization stages

  • Articulate personas and customer journeys, write epics/ user stories, maintain product backlog, conduct scrum meetings, etc. to test and create intuitive and impactful digital solutions

  • Partner with customer constituents, strategy, line of business, design, data science/ analytics, technology, solution adoption and training teams for their expertise and strengths to ensure successful execution and achievement of user/ business results

  • Proactively communicate project progress, issues with recommended solution options, pilot learnings, post-launch KPIs and results Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master s degree or equivalent experience in Digital Marketing or Engineering or Product Design. Agile certification preferred

  • 15+ years of applicable professional experience. Must have 5-7+ years Product Management leadership experience. Should have worked closely with customers, designers and engineers.

  • Experience in digital agency, innovation teams of established companies, software product development companies or startups along with exposure to regulated industries

  • Demonstrated success and failure/ learnings in launching new products

  • Knowledge and application of web, mobile and/or emerging technologies: immersive experiences, conversational interfaces, internet of things, artificial intelligence, cobots, wearables, etc.

  • Self-driven and ability to execute with an entrepreneurial spirit within a corporate environment

  • Ability to solve problems creatively, leverage data to drive decisions and incorporate trends

  • Effective oral, written, interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills
