The Director of Health & Productivity Solutions will design and deliver the next generation advocacy model to help employees maximize their benefits, easily navigate the healthcare system, and drive the future of healthcare. This individual will also manage the existing suite of health and productivity offerings including Aetna One and Concierge.

Fundamental Components:

  • Execute product development for Aetna's new advocacy model and other new health and productivity solutions, from concept through launch gate.

  • Work cross-functionally to develop and execute strategies necessary to implement new offerings, including Aetna's new advocacy model.

  • Facilitate the resolution of complex issues in a matrixed environment associated with the launch, sales and implementation of our H&P solutions.

  • Project manage the execution of all strategic initiatives within appropriate timeline, scope and budget.

  • Manage progress tracking and delivery of H&P strategic initiatives milestones and deliverables.

  • Conduct risk assessment and mitigation on project deliverables as appropriate.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and use it to build a health and productivity portfolio strategy.

  • Develop strategic and economic business cases for all new offerings, including revenue, profit and market share targets.

  • Collect and analyze performance data to inform new product innovation, enhancement and rationalization decisions.

  • Serve as subject matter expert for suite of H&P offerings in support of new customer sales and implementations.


  • at least 5 years of relevant experience in Managed Care / Health Insurance industry. 7 years preferred.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Project/ Product Management.

  • Multiple years of proven leadership experience setting strategic direction.

  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and or programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a highly matrixed organization.

  • Must be willing and able to travel 10-25% of time.

  • Supervisory experience.


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a MBA.
