The Director, Retirement Income Advice will be responsible for the development of the strategic blue-print, integration, and client-centric delivery of retirement income planning tools to serve client needs across all channels. They will lead initiatives to develop or enhance platforms and work with business partners to identify opportunities to address longer-term business needs.
Partner with Retirement Income strategy and productteams to create, explain, and implement income solutions to bridge the gapbetween a client’s accumulation phase (or “to” retirement phase) and theutilization phase (or the “thru” phase)Develop and implement investment guidance framework,capabilities and platform.
Drivedevelopment and scale of retirement income toolset/platform strategic plan,architecture, and integration with other platforms.
Serveas thought leader and oversee strategic integration, monitoring and evaluationof retirement income platform for alignment with advice and planning vision,platform performance, design consistency; ensure solutions are put in place toaddress issues identified.
Developknowledge of industry challenges/opportunities and competitive positioning.
Reviewrecommendations regarding new approaches, technologies and processes.
Recommendkey business and platform strategies to management; support a culture ofcompliance, ensuring that adherence to government and self-regulatoryrequirements/policies takes place.
Participate in preparing key planning documentsfor senior management and boards/board committees.
