In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Be part of a dynamic team, responsible for development and execution of the Global strategic needs within the Volcano business (Coronary and Non Coronary Segments)

You are responsible for/to:

  • Develop and Execute strategy for Non Coronary IVUS

  • Develop and Execute strategy for Coronary IVUS

  • Build FFR platform for additional growth

  • Broaden Global Footprint in the EU/ASPAC/ANZ/LA Targets

  • Due Diligence (as needed)

  • Assist on New Product Development Teams for Market Access

  • Explore opportunities to develop and align strategies with National Contracts (service based initiatives) as needed

  • Incorporate HE endpoints into ongoing Clinical Trails

  • Lead and Build Professional Society Relations for Reimb strategies

  • File Routine costs approvals to CMS for trials.

Must be able to work independently while also being able to communicate cross functionally to align needed strategies and tactics. Contribute strongly to the leadership teams.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in the healthcare reimbursement field;

  • Medical Device experience a must

  • BS degree in relevant field required

  • Medicare and Private payer reimbursement changes

  • Knowledge of Federal legislative processes and politics affecting reimbursement

  • Strong working knowledge of the reimbursement processes affecting HHS products and services – eg. the coverage, coding and payment processes within CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) and other third-party payers

  • Strong working relationships with key industry and provider groups / payers

  • Knowledge of the medical device industry within the context of the overall Healthcare industry.

  • Ability to effectively communicate, influence and persuade through oral or written communications

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to reach consensus leading to market access
