Olympus America Inc. Senior Product Manager, Rhinology in Southborough, Massachusetts
Southborough, MA - The Senior Product Manager will report to the Executive Director, ENT Marketing in the day-to-day management of the DIEGO ELITE and InstaClear platforms and be the direct business support, marketing/product champion and resource for the assigned product lines. EOE M/F/D/V
Monitor sales trends and updating forecasts as necessary to meet demand.
Monitor of market trends including competition, procedural/market growth, reimbursement, and emerging technologies.
Manage bi-weekly communication to the field to help push sales as well as providing tips & tricks for more successful evaluations.
Conduct product launch studies and clinical validation activities.
Create marketing collateral and tools to support the selling process.
Field work with sales, sales management, and clinical team.
Develop relationships with MD product champions and key opinion leaders who will influence broader market acceptance.
Maintain your expertise as the "product and clinical specialist" by attending procedures, courses, tradeshows, and staying abreast of industry changes and advancements.
Create training presentations, tools and conducting training for sales at training sessions, national sales meeting, tradeshows, accounts, etc.
Maintain responsiblity for launching line extensions to DIEGO ELITE and INSTACLEAR.
Assist with creation, execution and support of Surgeon Education programs.
Assist Upstream Marketing with preparations for any line extensions of assigned product lines.
Potentially provide future supervision to Product Managers, Associate Product Managers as the business develops in future years.
Perform all other essential duties as directed.

External Applicants: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business is required; Minimum of 6 years of experience providing overall leadership in the market as well as evaluating a given market and assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and developing and implementing strategies is required. Master's/MBA is strongly preferred with a minimum of 4 years experience is required.
Internal Applicants: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business; Minimum of 4 years of Olympus experience combined sales/marketing is required. If a Master's Degree/MBA, a minimum of 3 years Olympus experience is required.
Experience in medical product management or medical sales is necessary.
Must have proven track record of launching products to market.
Must be able to project a professional image and strong leadership skills.
Must demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team is vital.
Must be a self motivated and confident with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Must be results oriented with a track record of meeting established goals and expanding market share.
Ability to strategically plan and tactically implement is necessary.
Strong inter-functional management is vital.
Must have the ability to lead project teams.
Must be able to travel 30 – 40%, including internationally.
