The Marketing Projects Coordinator is a key contributor to the Marketing Department's overall goal, corporate and business line marketing support, as driven by determined annual strategic priorities. As a member of the Marketing Department team, the Marketing Projects Coordinator performs a wide range of duties including but not limited to coordinating the details of Bank, Foundation and public events, trade shows, sponsorship and other projects as assigned. Additional responsibilities include tasks in support of the general marketing functions of the department RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Team Involvement: Coordinates small staff teams as assigned in order to accomplish directed tasks and activities as described above. Acts as back-up to other marketing department members as needed in various interdepartmental functions. Interacts in a collaborative manner with other marketing colleagues to accomplish cross-disciplinary tasks. Bank, Foundation and Business Line Relations: Assumes key role in providing necessary support for the Bank, Foundation and Community events. Assists in production of collateral and materials as needed for events. Coordinates and assists in planning, creative development and the distribution of marketing materials for special promotions. Meets regularly with Customer Relationship Teams to develop marketing materials and gift items. Community Events, Seminars and Trade Shows: Assumes key role in planning and executing major public events sponsored by the Bank or Foundation. Serves as liaison with respective nonprofit groups in coordinating and managing delivery and set up of displays and related materials for seminars and shows. Directly supports the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement in planning the creative direction and approval of displays and materials, and the production of the same, including accuracy and compliance review. Works with Business Lines and Customer Relationship Teams to coordinate appropriate staffing for respective shows. Administrative: Coordinates the events calendar and coordination of materials for all internal and external events. Meets with the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement to monitor needs and activity. Assists in the planning, creative development, purchase and distribution of premiums and giveaways. Other Duties: As assigned and needed by the Bank. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, and/or Business strongly preferred. Coursework in marketing, advertising, and/or public relations is required. At least three years of experience working in a corporate environment and/or a marketing/events organization. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and the ability to manage budget spreadsheets (Microsoft PowerPoint a plus). Desktop publishing and basic graphic applications (Adobe, I-Design, Smartdraw) a plus. Detail-oriented. Ability to perform work independently within the scope of this job description. Able to utilize various types of office equipment and technology. Able to furnish own transportation to off-site locations as needed. Physically able to set up conference displays. Must be able to work overtime as needed; including early mornings, nights and weekends.
