Reference Code: 1702807 Position Title: Sales Manager, Wholesale Location: South Deerfield, Massachusetts Reports to: Director of Division Sales The Sales Manager, Wholesale is responsible for leading and executing Wholesale channel/ account strategy for assigned accounts in order to meet & exceed sales and profitability plans under the guidance of the Director of Division Sales, Wholesale. Specific focus on meeting customer business plans by directing sales team members. Implements and guides effective relationship engagement plans with assigned retailers in support of sales development strategies. This individual works with all areas of the business to understand the needs as well as the "best practices" for each area. They will build external relationships within channel/ accounts to drive profitability and sales for YCC and accounts. Experience with independent retailers is preferred. This position must be based in our South Deerfield, MA office location. Responsibilities: Create effective sales/marketing strategies across assigned accounts to achieve all Wholesale sales & revenue goals, while creating & leading dedicated, retail focused, customer teams for major accounts. Develop strategic customer business plans for channels/accounts. Drive independent retailer’s growth and success. Nurture customer/operations relationships through appropriate customer meetings. Understand major customer execution strategies and decision making process and be an advocate for them inside YCC. Ensures alignment and accountability with both Broker and Direct Sales Force. Implement best practice category management initiatives focused on shopper insight development and activation. Analyze & monitor performance vs metrics & adjust strategies & tactical execution as necessary. Continuously assesses execution performance and coach team/broker to improve/course correct to ensure delivery of net sales growth Develop and implement customer specific retail execution plans that ensure all retail sales(Wholesale customers) and profit metrics are achieved. Ensure that customer specific input is provided through the Integrated Marketing function in support of the development of all corporate, brand and marketing strategies. Develop and help manage the Customer P&L’s for channels/accounts to ensure that YCC profitability goals are achieved. Build effective relationships with peers and customers via industry associations and networking with other companies in home space Manages assigned staff. Hires, trains, coaches/develops and manages employees’ performance including providing regular feedback (both positive and remedial), performance appraisals and salary administration. Represent the company in communicating policies and ensures a safe environment. Attends trade shows as necessary Key Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in an inside sales environment with proven experience and ability to build strong, long-term relationships internally/externally; financial acumen/analytical abilities Excellent presentation and communication skills; strong attention to details, excellent follow through and organizational skills; pro-active, enthusiastic, creative Self-motivated in achieving sales goals; proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point Open to relocation to South Deerfield, MA Qualifications We are an E-verify Employer.
