International Data Group Sr. Writer, Computerworld in San Francisco, California
Computerworld, an IDG publication, is seeking an experienced reporter who can write authoritatively about enterprise tech, with a focus on delivering stories that help enterprise users understand -- and use -- technology in business.
Computerworld's focus revolves around Collaboration, Mobile, Windows, Office, Apple in the enterprise, and web browsers; we're looking for writers who can get into the nitty-gritty of these topics, explaining sometimes-complex technology in a way that helps our readers solve IT problems. Not only do we cover what's happening right now, but we want someone who can spot what's coming, with the ability to explain the "why" and "how" of technology as much as the "what." Our readers expect a deep understanding of the topics we cover, and the stories we publish should reflect that.
2-3 years of journalism experience, preferably as a news reporter or writer
1-2 years of Enterprise tech writing/editing experience
Hands-on experience with tech and being comfortable on video are added bonuses
Unit: Enterprise Editorial
