Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

NetSuite Value Management is responsible for developing andsupporting business value propositions for NetSuite applications and services. This critical pre-sales role engages with Salesand Customer Success to provide Value Viewpoints, industry analysis, currentand historical key performance indicators, studies of company financialstatements, and analysis of key metrics. Theydevelop and produce strategic briefs(Value Viewpoints) for potential account pursuits. They also model businessimprovement scenarios for customers using NetSuite solutions. TheValue ConsultantAssociateare successful consultantswho can effectively reflect NetSuite s value proposition through Cash Flow, ROIand TCO analysis. They also bring innovative thinking, marketing skills andvalue selling practices to filed activities.
Develop and produce strategic briefs(Value Viewpoints) for account pursuit which are used by Sales Executives anddesigned to provoke prospects into how NetSuite enables them to betransformative and disruptive.
Gather, compileand articulate how industry financial benchmarks translate into economic valuefor prospects.
Research industrykey issues and document key relevant key factors affecting prospects
Create applicablevalue models to support application ROI and TCO improvements and Cash Flowmodels
Develop provocative value based IP for NetSuite s Platform
Analyze currentand historical financial statements for target NetSuite prospects and customersto identify how NetSuite can add value to their organization
Compare customerkey performance indicators against industry benchmarks.
Prepare written reportson industry and target prospects.
Work with salesleaders, general managers, and value management personnel to drive programsthat show customers and prospects the impact of implementing NetSuitesolutions.
Develop strategic campaigns insupport of NetSuite s growth objectives
Bring innovative thinking, marketingskills, value selling practices to field activities
Engage other SMEs to coordinateValue Viewpoint development and campaigns
Ability to independently own and drive your work streams, balancingdemands, deadlines, and dynamically shifting internal and customer priorities,while providing transparency to stakeholders.
5 years in acomparable value engineering, business management, marketing, or financialanalysis in industry (Wholesale Distribution, Software, Manufacturing orRetail) is preferred
Ability tounderstand and analyze the value drivers behind enterprise softwareimplementations. Ideally has experiencewith enterprise software applications such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, IBM,JDA, Siebel, or Salesforce.com.
Understanding of Softwareindustry terminology, and Software best practices.
Understand therole of cost drivers and strategic cost analysis in a value based managementsystem.
Excellentanalysis skills using Microsoft Excel and ability to produce production-qualityoutput in PowerPoint and Word.
Distinctive communications skills (written,verbal, graphical). Ability to communicate business, analytical, and technicalcontents in an easy to understand manner
