Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated product/project management experience. The Global Oracle Cloud GTMproduct marketing team is looking forSeniorProduct Marketing Managerto help shape our GTM efforts around theoverall Cloud Platform including PaaS andIaaSas well as our new recent*productlineCloud at Customer. We relooking for someone to help with cross-pillar messaging, competitivede-positioning, drive online campaigns, and go to market efforts relative tosales enablement. This role will be mostly focused on leading ourcross-platform marketing initiatives*includingeverything from developing solution storylines, implementing and recordingdemos, developing customer content, writing blogs, solution briefs, e-booksacross Cloud PaaS and IaaS.

We are looking for someonewho works well collaboratively with key stakeholders across corporate marketing,PR, product development and field sales teams across multiple product groupsincluding Analytics, Database, Middleware and Infrastructure.

As a manager in product marketing, you will be responsible for the following:

-{PS..0}-> Leading the development of CloudGTM marketing specifications for Cloud Platform especially focusing on cross-platformsolutions that cut across multiple areas of the business

-{PS..1}-> Manage marketing activities withinthe context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives.

-{PS..2}-> Manage lifecycles and productpositioning in the market place.

-{PS..3}-> Identify customer needs, overseemarket research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape especially focused on AWS and MSFT Azure

-{PS..4}-> Implement and monitor field salesplays, integrated campaigns.

-{PS..5}-> Act as a technical advisor forspecific product(s) including public speaking.

-{PS..6}-> Initiate and foster relationshipswith development, sales, and other groups to develop new products or enhancefunctionality of existing product(s) or product line(s).

-{PS..7}-> Ensure successful product releasesbased on corporate priorities.

-{PS..8}-> Directs and ensures theimplementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interactsinternally and externally with executive management involving negotiation ofdifficult matters to influence policy.

-{PS..9}-> Building developer focused content to help customersunderstand Oracle vs. competitor s offerings

-{PS..10}-> Defining and creating compete content BOM including usecases, detailed personas, key themes, customer lifecycle messaging,differentiated value propositions and ROI, field communications and salesenablement readiness in partnership with other product marketing managers,product management and field sales teams.

-{PS..11}-> Partnering with members of other teams within the marketingorg, including advertising, digital, communication, integrated marketing andproduct marketing teams to put compete marketing plans into action



  • Experienced in leading go-to-market for enterprise softwareand emerging styles of GTM for Cloud-based packaged business solutions.

  • Understanding of Cloud PaaS and/or IaaS technologies relatedto one or multiple areas such as Analytics, Database, Application Development,Security, and Integration Middleware.

  • Understand key customer trends & use cases such asdev/test, micro services, SaaS integration, big data analytics, API Management,PaaS for SaaS

  • Experience with or knowledge of Oracle s Cloud offerings.Hands-on experience with our technology and experience or desire to learn andgo deep our competitors products and services.

  • The ability to work across teams (engineering, marketing,sales and services) to ensure we create and promote the right competitivemessages through the right vehicles

  • Demonstrated bias for action and driving results

  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in roles such as marketingor sales,evangelism, program management, etc. within the hi-tech industry

  • The candidate should also have:*
